How to Go From Airport to City Center?

When you enter Istanbul by airways, you have many alternatives for transportation to the city center. Bus, taxi, HAVAIST buses are some of them. With different transportation alternatives, it is possible to reach to many different points in Istanbul.
There are two active airports for passenger transportation in Istanbul.
Istanbul Airport (IST)
Istanbul Airport (IST) is located at the European Side of Istanbul, in Arnavutköy, by the Black Sea coast. Distances from Istanbul's main districts to Istanbul Airport are; Avcılar 53 km, Gayrettepe 38 km, Taksim 40 km, Levent 36 km, Maslak 35 km, Kavacık 42 km, Üsküdar 47 km, Kadıköy 52 km and Pendik 73 km.
There are many different options for the transportation of passengers from Istanbul Airport to the city center:
Taxi: Taxi services are available at Istanbul Airport (IST), operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Vehicles operate in 3 different segments: black color "E", turquoise color "D" and orange color "C".
Passengers who want to get taxi service can use the vehicles located on the departure floor (2nd floor) as well as the main stops at the Plaza Section domestic and international passenger exit gates. According to the tariff published by the authorized institution, turquoise taxi fares are 15% more than orange taxi fares; black luxury taxis are 70% more than orange taxi fares. Bridge tolls, bus station exit fees and highway tolls are paid by the customer.
Car rental: All car rental companies are located on the land side of domestic arrivals. All rental companies provide 24/7 service.

Havaist: It is the service used for transportation to Istanbul Airport. The fee is 52 TL and it is possible to pay in cash or by credit card in the vehicle, or you can pay with a credit card via the HAVAIST Website or Mobile Application and have the QR code scanned by the device in the vehicle.

Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW)
Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW) is located in Pendik/Kurtköy. It is 40 kms to Kadıköy, 12 kms to Pendik and 50 kms to Taksim.
Access from airport is easily provided by the TEM highway connection. Apart from personal cars, transportation options are available by car rental, buses (IETT), taxi, Havabus and Havaist services:
Taxi: 40 km from Kadıköy, 12 km from Pendik, 50 km from Taksim. are at a distance.
Taxi service is available at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Car rental: Car rental offices are located on the arrivals floor of the terminal building and provide 24/7 service.

Havaist: Sabiha Gokcen HAVAIST stop is "Sabiha Gokcen H.L." located opposite the airport arrivals gate. It is located at the IETT station.

On the hours marked with the stars, the bus goes to Istanbul Airport by stopping by Kadıköy, Acıbadem Metro, Yenisahra and Kavacık stations. At other hours, HAVAIST buses operate directly between Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) and Istanbul Airport (IST).
